The Casino

I've been going to Catalina Island since I was a small child. It's such a unique place and it has a lot of interesting history. Probably the most recognized building in the town of Avalon is the Casino. There has never been gamlbing there- it consists of a movie theatre and large ballroom for special events. With my interst in 3D art, I started thinking it might be cool to make a bit of a stylized version of the landmark building. This project was also an excuse to learn a little bit about Geometry Nodes (to generate some of the radial object arrays). This was a lot of fun and has got me thinking about making some other Catalina landmarks and objects in 3D.
